Would like to have 10-year old account removed from the Internet!

    Hi there, I made this really silly website years ago [sitename.wordpress.com] (in ~2011-2013 probably) and it’s really embarrassing when someone Googles my name and this comes up. Q: IS THERE A WAY TO HAVE THE SITE DELETED? I can provide a photo ID (my face is on the homepage) but I have no idea what email address I had back then or how to access accounts from that long ago. Thank you.

    To delete that site you need to gain access to the account that created it. For that please follow our Account Recovery guide:

    Recover your account

    I can provide a photo ID

    We cannot accept IDs and other legal documents as proof of ownership as we never asked for those when you created that account. We can only accept the email address or a transaction ID (if you made a purchase).

    @austinsangs    , they clearly mentioned that they need to delete a site under an account they no longer have access to. Please don’t give people false information.
