Would like to host the domain outloudspeakers.com with some other hosting

  Hello Sir,
  I would like to host the registered domain outloudspeakers.com with some other hosting company. When I try to change the nameserver, it says I need to make the domain as the primary one but in order to make this one as primary one I would have to purchase their plan and the plan includes hosting, then how will I host the domain with some other hosting company ? Please help

  Hi,

  I’m not sure why you are getting that “primary” message. But I suspect the larger issue is that the WordPress.com user account you are posting from is not the owner of the upgrade. Your user account is an admin on the site itself, but not the owner of the domain. You’ll need to log into the account that owns the domain to make that change.

  If you do not have access to that second account, here are a few options:

  Hello Josh,

  I did ask the account owner to do the same, setting up the nameserver…she has set the nameservers as per instruction, yet the domain http://www.outloudspeakers.com isn’t pointing to the new hosting :(

  Also she still gets the warning message “This domain is being forwarded to speakoutloud406983911.wordpress.com.Upgrade to a paid plan to make outloudspeakers.com the primary address.

  Hi there,

  Please note that name server changes can take up to 72 hours to fully propagate. So wait a bit longer and if you’re still having trouble loading the site let us know.

  Hello there,

  It has been more than 4 days but the name servers have not been migrated, neither the site shows up anything http://www.outloudpseakers.com :(

  The only solution we think of is to upgrade the plan and then we will have to stick to wordpress provided hosting as its default with an upgraded plan :(

  According to whois info at https://www.whois.com/whois/outloudspeakers.com, you are using the name servers from solidhosting.pro and it seems they are going nowhere. You must contact their support to find out what’s going on.
