would like to link to my blog from my website

I’ve checked but am still unsure (and I don’t want to violate any usage rules) on using the wordpress icon. What I’d like to do is put a “W” (the official icon) on my website to link to my wordpress blog. Sort of in the same way I have a blue “F” to link to my facebook page. I just want to be extra sure though that using the wordpress icon in this way does not violate their usage rules. After all, I’ll be using it to link to my wordpress blog and not their website. I appreciate if anyone could let me know if I’m ok with putting that icon on my business website. I know I can add the wordpress blog to my website but I like keeping it separate. Thanks in advance.

You are absolutely allowed to do what you suggest. Just make sure you use approved logos: http://wordpress.org/about/logos/

Thank you so much for the quick reply! I had already downloaded an official logo with the hope that I can use it this way. I’ll be adding it to my website soon. Thank you again for the help.
