Would like to understand new Google News Referrer links

  I have started to get Google News referrer links to my blog today. If I follow the link back though to understand what section it is coming from (or anything else relevant), I just get the news.google.com page.

  I don’t recall ever submitting it for News before, (but seeing it prompted me to submit it today).

  My blog is long running and pretty popular in a niche sport anyway, but I’d like to understand this.

  I have tried searching my site on the Google News search, and get no results, despite getting links from it. Any suggestions to understand this better?

  This might help. I understand it’s just an RSS aggregator of sorts that refers out to the article’s site.
