Would this be considered Advertising?
-
My Blog, http://nekonekomovielitterbox.wordpress.com/, is a weird melange of personal ramblings, odd news stories, but mostly serves as a place for me to write about and review odd foreign horror, fantasy, and exploitation films that I’m absolutely nutty about.
It’s mostly an expression of my hobby of collecting such films and I’d like to make a new page to list places where I’ve been able to locate these hard-to-find DVD’s for those visitors interested in getting a copy for themselves. Ideally there would be links to these places, but I was worried that this might constitute “Advertising” and I’m not interested in getting in trouble over that so I thought I’d check first before going ahead.
Basically, I’d have no connection to the sites listed… and I wouldn’t be receiving any compensation for the links, it’s meant mostly as a helpful guide for those looking to collect the same types of films I’m interested in.
Any thoughts?

I don’t think this would count. Many bloggers that I’ve seen have lists of resources — book recs, etc. But just to be triply safe, you might want to email/contact staff and tell them, explaining they aren’t even affiliate links, but that you just want to help your visitors find some of these hard-to-find DVDs.
In other threads, it’s been emphasized that as long as it’s clearly a blog with a lot of content — your content, views, etc. — then the occasional link to a product isn’t a problem. But you need to check with staff to be 100% certain.
