Would WordPress.com get rid of the excerpt feature?

  Would WordPress.com get rid of the excerpt feature? Also would themes stop support it and stop allowing posts on the front page to show excerpts instead of the full post?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  I would really like to know why you feel that it’s better to show the full post on the homepage rather than showing only the excerpts.

  Also, I don’t think WordPress.com would be doing this.

  @upwardsup – As I mentioned, I would like to understand the basis of your concerns. Over the last week or so you have posted about a dozen “what if” questions.   Hi upwardsup,

  We have no plans to remove the excerpt feature. Can you tell me why you are concerned about this? Or what has lead you think we might do so?
