  I would like to empty my blog of all its content.

  You have a lot of content so you will want to wait for Staff to delete it for you. Please post the URL of the blog you want the content deleted from knowing that there is no going back — once it’s gone it’s gone forever.

  That’s why I don’t want to delete the contents manually and would prefer the staff to do it for me.

  It is the same url as already shown:

  I already have a backup, so I do prefer what’s there to be gone forever.

  How long does it usually take for the Staff to delete a blog’s contents?

  At current they are on their yearly meet up which lasts until the 27th so there may be a delay until they do this for you.

  You can delete all blog content by yourself rather than waiting for Staff to do it for you.

  I did as you said, but could only succeed when limiting my bulk deletions to 5-10 entries at a time. I had 1,160 entries to delete, so it took a while… especially when periodically getting messages such as:

  Goshdarnit!

  Something has gone wrong with our servers. It’s probably Matt’s fault.

  We’ve just been notified of the problem.

  Hopefully this should be fixed ASAP, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.

  — and —

  You are not allowed to delete this item.

  I noticed I had to refresh my trash list page repeatedly after getting the above messages. Every 2nd or 3rd time, the list would be 1 entry less. When the total didn’t diminish, then I knew I could continue with my deletion process.

  I knew this would happen. That’s why I hoped the staff would do it for me. I knew I needed to wait until I had the patience necessary to handle this task. That patience came in time to spare the staff from doing it for me.

  All is now deleted, so please let the staff know this.
