  Hi
  There is something weird with the forums
  Go to a topic that has 2 pages or more
  you see the person’s name who started the topic
  Then go to page 2
  TADA (or maybe not)
  Now the person is anonymous

  Take this has a example: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=8515&page=50&replies=1485
  and actually every page except the first one that has the anonymous problem

  Dude, we’ve been noticing that for ages, but none of us put two and two together and figured out it had to do with extra pages. You win the GOLD STAR! Now it makes more sense!
