You are having a specific issue that is making it difficult to use our blocks? If so please let us know so I can take a closer look.
We also recommend the classic block, which is a block you can add to “insert” the classic editor inside of the newer block editor, and has the familiar formatting tools you are used to: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/classic-block/
