Wow – Love the new look
-
I love the new functions and the ability to get to “New Posts” for each blog now in addition to getting to each dashboard.
Great Work.
Thank you,

One thing I find a little hard about it is that the visited links are a bit hard to read on the dropdown menu bar.

“Visited links” are the blogs you have already been to once today and they show up in a different color.
In the color scheme I see, the not yet visited links are white on a blue background which is readable and the visted links are a pale red on a blue background which I can’t read.
When I hover over them, they become more legible.
-
Um – just where am I supposed to be seeing “Visited Links”? What drop-down? I don’t seem to have it.

When you look at the admin bar (when you’re logged in to wp.com) there are links to My Account, My Dashboard, New Post etc.
On some themes when you click those links they can turn a horrible purple colour. On others it’s fine.
None of mine do it, but I did see it using IE on some blogs the other day.
EDIT: Found one – This theme does it with IE but not Firefox or Opera.

Maybe we can get staff to defind Visited links then.
I would suggest posting a comment to the Post announcing it but looks like folks have already done that for other things. I’d suggest sending in a feedback, point them to this thread and ask them to define the visited links.
Looks fine in Netscape by the way. *shrug*

Question: when I click on “New Post” it doesn’t take me to the writing area; instead, it takes me to the Dashboard. Is this the correct behaviour? (Using Mozilla.)
-
Don’t know, don’t use it. I generally just go to the dashboard and click “write” from there.
Nips off to check…
-
Does the same for me. Just goes to the dashboard (in Opera). Right, where’s that feedback button…
-
Like Vivian I’m using a firefox browser. But in my case clicking “new post” takes me to a “write post” page the way it should so this may be indicating that Vivian’s blog needs the staff to look at it.

Thanks, podz. That did it.
TT – FYI Mozilla and Firefox are two different browsers. Even with all of the extensions available for Firefox, I much prefer Mozilla over it.
