WP 2016 Protected Post?

  I made a password protected post. Sometimes the enter password page comes up and sometimes it takes you right to the page. How do I fix this?

  Please provide the address for the website that you need assistance with. You can also provide a link to the password protected post so that we can test the feature (please keep the password protection enabled while doing this).

  the website is http://www.sequimpicklers.net. The post is under
  Let’s Play, Members Contact List. Here is the link to the post.

  It is still password protected, but I removed the link to the contact list to protect information. I just went there and it took me right to the page, no password asked for. Thank you for any help. denise

  Thank you for this information. I did a quick check to see if the website would show as password protected for me and it is, at least for now.

  Although this website is using WordPress software it is self-hosted and is not hosted or supported on WordPress.com.
  Since this forum is build to support issues and questions with WordPress.com functionality you’ll need to visit WordPress.org for support.
