WP 3.5 Disable attachment pages?

    With the new WP 3.5 the media up-loader has default the option link to attachment page set when you insert a file. Many of my posters forget to manually change this to link to media file. So they unwillingly add a attachment page.

    How do i set this default to “link to media file” of totally disable attachment pages.?

    Hi there, I don’t see that you have a WordPress.com blog, and this is the forum for WordPress.com support only. On WordPress.com, there is no way to disable the option to link to attachment pages; however, for each user, the last used setting is remembered (so if someone switches the option to link to the file URL, media files will link there moving forward).
