WP 4.5 update interfered with some of my plugins (which are updated)

    Our word press site was initially developed by an outside party – I now manage and maintain the site for my company. Yesterday I updated to WP 4.5, and all other plugins were up-to-date, including Visual Composer. However, my VC stopped working, after hours of research online it seems that that VC 4.7.4 I have is not the most recent release, and not comparable with the WP 4.5 update. I need to up date my plug in WPBakery to 4.11 and cannot find a way to do so. Our site is a for our corporation and everything is fully purchased.

    I have tried to troubleshoot via Visual Composer sites and I can log into Envato but when I got to ‘approve the terms’ under ‘My Account and Support’ their page has an ‘server error’ and I cannot move forward with support OR getting the upgrade – I do not want to downgrade my WP and I cannot work on any of my company pages until I can update to VC 4.11 – on my plugin page it says my VC is up-to-date in 4.7.4, which it is NOT .
