wp add and mailchimp popup overlapping

    When on mobile (iPhone 5) go to free wp.com website through google search application WP banner “Create your website at WordPress.com. Get started.” and Mail-chimp popup banner are overlapping in a way user can’t hide Mail-chimp popup.

    Hello, I wrote 10 days ago about something I consider a rather serious bug but didn’t get an answer or reply. Is there an ETA for resolving this issue?

    kinobarut – Does this happen across all browsers on that device? Can you share which operating system and browser types + version numbers that this happens in. Add as a comment on the Github link.

    Hi, this issue is still present in both Chrome and Safari, on iPhone 5.

    I wanted to reply on the Github link, but I see that ticket was closed there, because this is known bug related to the widget itself, rather than to individual theme. I suppose this means that impact of this bug is much wider.

    Could someone tell me who is the right address for resolving this issue, because we’ll soon enter third week of having a serious bug on our site. Thanks!

    Hi @kinobarut, there is not a public github link for this one, but our team is still working on a fix that will work across themes.

    Hello, three weeks have passed since last message. Is it possibile that this bug still haven’t been resolved, six weeks since opening the ticket?

    Hello folks, another month has passed and we are still experiencing this bug on our website.

    Can someone give us some kind of update regarding this issue and ETA for solving it.

    From my perspective the solution looks quite trivial, but someone from your side has to actually resolve it.
