    Hi there,

In this forum, you will find support only for WordPress.COM-hosted blogs. There is a separate support forum for WordPress.ORG self-hosted sites.

You can read more abut the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Please post your question in this forum: http://wordpress.org/support/

Best of luck with your site.

  • Hi there,

    Short answer: you can’t.

Longer answer: Your admin user account for your site, and your WordPress.com username account are two completely separate and unrelated accounts. The first is unique to your site only, and those credentials are stored in your site’s database on your hosting provider’s servers, while the second is used to log into your account on our platform, with the credentials stored on our servers.

However, the Jetpack plugin you used to connect that site to your WordPress.com account includes a feature that lets you log into WP-Admin via your WordPress.com account.

Go to My Site ->Settings ->Security, and enable the WordPress.com Log-In option you’ll find there. After enabling that, the next time you try to access WP-Admin, you’ll see a prompt to log in using WordPress.com, instead of the regular form asking for your admin username and password. And depending on cookie settings in your browser, you’ll remain logged into WP-Admin for as long as you also remain logged into your WordPress.com account.

You can learn more about this feature here:
