  I seem to have lost my WP admin dashboard and cannot add or change my links on the side bar.

  Hi there, it sounds like your account was recently switched to the unified navigation that WordPress.com is rolling out to everyone. You can read about this here: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/unified-navigation/

  The Links Manager doesn’t look to be included in this new navigation, but you should still be able to access it by direct link by adding /wp-admin/link-manager.php to the end of your site address.

  Just noting that the Links Manager looks to have returned to the navigation sidebar regardless of which dashboard you have set in your Account Settings>Dashboard Appearance.
