WP-ADMIN DASHBOARD- CANNOT GO IN

For pirogm, you should just clear your browser cache, not your cookies, as clearing your cookies may reset things back to where you started.

Does it mean I need to do this on each computer I’m currently using? I hope it is only temporary behavior.

I don’t have a dashboard for my blog either. I tried switching browsers and emptying the cache with Chrome and Safari. It looks like I’m not set as an admin for my own blog, which I started this week. Thank you for the help!

Hello,

I recently created a WordPress blog and I can’t seem to log in to the dashboard. I keep getting error messages such as: “This webpage has a redirect loop”. I’ve tried Chrome,Firefox and IE, but still getting similar errors. I’ve even tried different computers with different operating systems … even different Linux distros, but still without success. I’ve tried to find the solution online, but there isn’t one.

I try to log to: http://iviservices.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ — always getting errors.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

@pirogm: yes, you will need to use the link on each computer or any time you clear cookies.

@timethief: we understand this is frustrating, but due to the nature of the test, we did not wish to publicly announce it as doing so might interfere with the results. This is also why we cannot post the reset link publicly or discuss it in too much detail. I believe the test will conclude within the next few days.

I access admin area and now I cannot access admin area on same computer and browser. I clear all browser information and restart to no avail. Please provide links to use admin for the following :)

I’m having, I think, a different problem with accessing a dashboard.

I have a few blogs under my username, the one I’m trying to edit is bridgestreet.wordpress.com. I’m not getting any error message, there just isn’t a dashboard link anymore. If I click ‘My Blogs’, I can view them. I can view certain pages, like stats or posts. When I try to edit a page, I’m only able to get the simple editor (it’s visual only, so I can’t edit any of the links or other html).

I am also having the same issue accessing the dashboard from my site. I just have the blue bar at the top no matter what I do.

Tried using /wp-admin and /admin at the end of the URL but no luck…

I’ve tried the reset link and clearing my cache multiple times but I still do not have my Dashboard when I login. I have tried this on multiple computers with the same result.

Hi ahaynes29,

You might try logging out of WordPress.com, using the link I sent, clearing your browser cache, and logging back in. From there, if you cannot get to your Dashboard by going to https://ahaynesphotography.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ , please let me know by replying to the email I sent you, so we can troubleshoot this further in private.
