WP admin link gone

Hi! In the past, there has been a little box with an arrow at the top of the sidebar in my admin page that got me to the WP Admin area. This was accessed by clicking on three dots next to the bar at the top of the ‘My Site’ page, where the name of my site is.
This has disappeared, and the only thing that happens when I click on that spot is that it takes me to the actual page for my site. I tried logging out and logging back in again, but it’s still not there. How do I get to the WP Admin part of the site now? Is this an error? Is this something that has been away from the folks on the free plan?
Help, please! I’d like to be able to access things like editing categories and stuff again.

just write “wp-admin” next to the name of your blog, in your address link
like: therealavengers.wordpress.com/wp-admin
and you will get to the wp-admin.
i don’t know why they removed this link from the top of the side-bar.

Hi there,
You can get to the dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (e.g.: example.wordpress.com/wp-admin) and I don’t think it’s an error. May be they have made some changes to the navigation.
