/wp-admin log in
-
I recently changed name servers, since I am using wp.org instead of .com now.
I tried logging in via /wp-admin, and am denied access.
however, when I login from wordpress.com, I gain access.
How can I resolve this, so I can login from myblog/wp-admin?
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. However, mattmm.com is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can’t help with.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation and support sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at http://codex.wordpress.org/ and http://wordpress.org/support/

I got the issue resolved… but now I have another problem:
I have an account with wordpress.com.
I made the switch to self-host and use wordpress.org. Same domain, content, everything.both accounts use the same email/username, so it wont let me log in to wordpress.org in order to post topics in the help forum there.
how to get around this ?
p.s. I am able to log in to my /wp-admin login just fine.
Thanks! -
*the /wp-admin for the wordpress.org site, to manage my website. sorry forgot to emphasize that.

It says password is incorrect.
If I try to register an account, it displays in pink “email already exists”. -
Have you tried their password recovery system?
WordPress.org and WordPress.com are different systems. You would not be able to log into one with the credentials from the other. Unless you had specifically set your login and passwords to be the same.

I did, and found my earlier attempt landed in my social” tab in gmail.
