WP Admin Missing, Can not get to Time Zone Setting

    Hello, I have my students each semester create a WP blog and one of the initial things I have them do is adjust the time zone. I watched and their sites are not showing WP Admin when they hover over My Site so is this a new setting change?
    I have instructed them to: Ensure you are still signed in, click on My Sites, then WP Admin (which opens your Dashboard in new browser window), Settings, General, then scroll to your Time Zone, ensure it is set to UTC-6 (during daylight savings you would use UTC-5). Or you can choose America, then Chicago from the drop down which has the same time zone as Texas. SCROLL to the bottom and click Save Changes.
    They can’t get to the WP Admin and the SettingsGeneral did not show any Time Zone options and they were not using IE.
