wp-admin password not working

  i was logged out of my account and my wp-admin password is now working
  when i use the lost password option they don’t send me an email.
  i know that my email and user name are right and less than 24 hours ago i was logged in and was editing the site i don’t know why i got logged out and why is my password not working.
