wp-admin post search functionality

I want the wp-admin search function on posts to only return a few posts and to display the relevant posts, i.e. if I search for hello world, then I want posts with that exact string highlighted first and only a certain number of posts. A bit like if you searched with quotes on Google “hello world”. My wp-admin search used to work like this, but the site was migrated and now it does not, it searches for posts with each individual word. In this example, returning posts with either the word hello or world.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

Thanks for the link! It seems your site uses WordPress.org and is hosted by GoDaddy, a different hosting service provider. We can help with WordPress.com sites in this forum. Please post on the WordPress.org support forum here, as that forum is more suited for questions related to WordPress.org sites.

You may also consider adding Jetpack Search to your WordPress.org site. It is a powerful replacement for the search capability built into WordPress. Jetpack Search provides higher-quality results and an improved search experience. You can learn more about Jetpack Search here.
