WP Admin sort posts by user/author gone

    The reason I left other blogging sites was because WP allowed me to go to Users and find links to the posts from any particular User/Author.

    I’m a university professor who uses WP for my students to blog. I’ve have introduced >1000 over the last decade to WP. Sorting posts by User or going to Users and seeing links to their posts, saves me hours in grading.

    That has been removed – yes, I went to Support first and they can’t find it anymore either…

    Could we PLEASE get it back? Or at least be able to sort posts by user/author?

    Hi there, it sounds like your account was recently switched to the unified navigation that WordPress.com is rolling out to everyone. You can read about this here: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/unified-navigation/

    The older User dashboard doesn’t look to be included in this new navigation, but you should still be able to access it by direct link by adding /wp-admin/users.php to the end of your site address.

    THANK YOU, justjennifer! that worked! …now, all I have to do is remember it :-)

    I had gone through the unified navigation material but hadn’t seen anything about what was and wasn’t being combined, lost, shifted, moved, etc.

    May this never go away…
