WP Admin tab in "new dashboard"?

    Hi,

    I am wondering if there is a way to regain the WP Admin tab on the left side menu of the new dashboard (mostly white screen with two toned blue headers)? This was/is a clickable link that took you back to the http://www.example.com/wp-admin page and, at least on my site, was located between the “view site” and “stats” tabs. I had this tab on my site and it seemingly disappeared recently, yet it still appears on a colleagues account, leading me to question/believe that it may be a setting of some kind that I cannot find? I can still reach the Admin page by manually typing the URL in, but the quick link was much more convenient for accessing the additional editing tools.

    Hello @hallbicycle –

    You’re correct that you can still reach the wp-admin page by manually typing it in – currently sites are being updated to the new user experience, which is what you have now – and soon all will have the WP-Admin tab removed. (But still have access to it by typing it in.)

    The best thing to do might just be to bookmark the wp-admin page so you can easily access it.
