WP and GSuite
-
Hi, we have a domain (type .org.mx). We use GSuite for email, drive and other apps, but we would like to host a web site in this domain with WP.
Is that posible to do it, and how?
Thank you, regards. -
Hello!
If you already purchased a domain name with another provider and prefer to keep it with your current provider, you can use it with your WordPress.com site by domain mapping https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/.
In summary, to get started you’ll need:
– An upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site (such as a Personal, Premium or Business plan, etc.)
– Add a mapping subscription to your site
– To update the name servers for the domain so they point to WordPress.com.Every explanation for each step you’ll find it in the link I posted above. I highly recommend to carefully read it.
Any questions, please let us know :)

We have two options for using a domain you already own with a site at WordPress.com:
Mapping allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/
A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
And, as for the GSuite account you already own, just follow these steps: https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/add-email-through-g-suite/
