WP audio player

  If I insert a mp3 file from the media library into a post is there something more I must do besides enclose it within [audio…] to make the audio player appear and function in the post? Inserting and leaving as is doesn’t produce the player ( and takes the reader to a quick time page in order to play the clip), but enclosing produces the player which either buffers eternally or says there was an error opening the file.

  The file works fine on the blog.

  Copy/paste in HTML window of the editor.
