WP banner and Mail-chimp popup overlaping

    When on mobile go to free wp.com website: WP banner “Create your website at WordPress.com. Get started.” and Mail-chimp popup banner are overlapping in a way user can’t hide Mail-chimp popup.

    The blog I need help with is kinobarut.wordpress.com.

    This ticket remained unresolved https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues/461

    I wanted to reply on the Github, but ticket was closed because this is known bug related to the widget itself, rather than to individual theme.

    This means that impact of this bug is much wider.

    I reported this 6 months ago, but in stead of resolving the bug I just got my thread closed for comments.

    I reported this 6 months ago, but in stead of resolving the bug I just got my thread closed for comments.

    The GitHub issue you linked to has been closed but only because it was moved. It’s still something our developers are aware of the need to work on though.

    Just to give you some insight — the speed and order in which bugs are looked at depends on the severity and number of sites affected, so some may take longer than others. I fully appreciate you have been waiting for news but I’m unable to give you any timeframes at the moment.
