WP Behavior With Monthly Traffic Over 500.000 hits

  Hi,

  I have WORDPRESS INSTALLED working completly right. The OS in my server is: Debian. With APACHE and PHP correctly installed. But, of course, to be here, I must have find a kind of problem. The problem is the amount of access to my site that´s over 500.000 by month! I did different tests with MYSQL and APACHE trying to correct the DOWNTIME I am facing here. But with no big results. My question is: is there an document reporting the best HARDWARE SETTINGS PRACTICE TO CORRECTLY HANDLE this specific amount of TRAFFIC?
