WP Blocks is so unintuitive!

I have been a WP user for more than 15 years, building all my personal sites and business sites with WP themes and it familiar dashboard. Then.. it has to introduce BLOCKS!!!

Why can’t you let things be? Why is there a need to keep changing things that make everything more complicated? In the name of progress? For whom? And for what purpose?

I have had enough. Since 2020 I have had so much problem with it. It is just so confusing that I have abandoned half a dozen of incomplete websites since then. I am now exploring WIX and other more user friendly platform.

  • Good Morning –

I’ll be glad to help if you’re interested. Please let me know which site you’re working on now, and what you’re trying to build (or what’s not working) and we can go from there.

This page has a list of all the blocks and a video on how to use them if you scroll down past the list.

The Editor X of Wix is similar to the Block editor of wordpress.com. As a lot of people prefer some kind of block editor as e.g. Elementor or Beaver Builder , most platforms are switching their editor to a block similar editor.

It’s not that difficult to switch to our Block Editor; you just gotta used to the new approach. Once you are used to our Block Editor you’ll notice it has a lot of more possibilities compared to the Classic Editor. From my personal experience, it takes only a few hours to learn using the Block Editor. Just go for it!
