wp blog stats does not register hits from smartphones?

  googled for my blog using my smartphone (was not logged into wp at that time), but this was not registered on my stats.

  does anyone know if blog stats registers hits from smartphones?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Visits from smart phones should appear in your Site Stats. WordPress stats work by counting each time a our smiley-face icon is downloaded onto a visitor’s browser.

  Is it possible that your visit was registered as delayed? Can you confirm that in your Settings -> General page on your Dashboard, your timezone matches your location?

  hi, i’ve checked my settings and my timezone matches my location.

  i don’t think it’s delayed because it’s been 12 hours since i googled and it still hasn’t appeared on my stats.

  Your visits or hits should be in the stats – the “Google” part wold be in the “Search Terms” and probably not in the “Referrers” area of the Stats.

  i was expecting it to appear in the ‘search engine terms’… anyway i think i’ve got it all sorted out – had forgotten to click on the link to the blog after i’d googled it using my phone. :P
