WP Blogs/Blog pages vs Blog sites rated by search engines

Question for the Blog community and or WP (WoerdPress) staff, as I’m unfamiliar with WP.

Regarding blogs, I understand that WP has blog templates. I am also aware there are web site themes which have a blog template/page designed into some of the themes. As we know, Google likes blogs––it rates the information in blogs higher or more favorably than if the same information was just on a non-blog web page. It’s my understanding that blogging sites help to keep content classified or deemed blog information by virtue of it being at blogging sites.

My question is how can we have our WP blogs be “rated” by search engines the same as if it were on blogging sites? If our content is rated higher on blogging site than anywhere on a WP page, even a WP “blog” page, is there a way to get our blog information integrated with blog sites, but still be on our WP blog page, such as in a WP theme template?

If my question is confusing, but someone understands my meaning, please do your best to address this concern.

    Thanks,

    Dave

    Worse than confusing – sorry

Go through all the links & the ebook below – should answer most of your questions and probably a bit more than you even thought to ask

In general a box stock blog here (all sites here are “blogs” by the way) – have great SEO

Here’s another topic I’ll be posting separately:

TOPIC: Multiple Leader Boards on the Home Page

Community, is there a way to have several different leader boards on the home page? For example, Lets, say there are several different products or goals––Product/Goal A, Product/Goal B, and Product/Goal C. Members can choose to be champions of all the products (or goals), and achieve status on all three products or goals, or they can choose just one product or goal which to participate.

We don’t want to have a member be the leader of product or Goal A (imagine a gamily Badge earned), but not be at the top of a leader board because another member has earned top status for more products or goals? Does this make sense? Is there a way to have multiple leader boards on one home page? If so, how?

    Thanks,

    Dave

Your question sounds like you should review the Terms of Service closely – I don’t have a clue about the “leader board”

You might also review the TOS before you get too far along:

You will not be able to build that site on WordPress.com. You need WordPress.org and a very expensive development team.

    NOTICE TO WP COMMUNITY:

In an effort to foster a positive and productive relationship, it is appreciated when any comments and opinions are supported with supporting fact or reasons. Simply stating something “can’t be done on WP” is less than helpful. History is replete with “it can’t be done,” only to be proven it can.

    Thanks for the feedback.
