WP Broken for Me.

    I’ve been trying for over a month to update my blog. I’ve had this same problem a few years ago as well and just gave up on it.

    If I google my domain – neslerdesigns.site it redirects to my wp just fine.
    But when I log in all I see is this:

    “You haven’t created any content yet”
    & all it keeps saying is “loading my sites” in the top left. My reader page never loads either, and when I click many links under contact or anything it doesn’t work.

    I’ve checked and I’m not using my ad blocker for wp, I allow cookies, I’ve cleared history etc. I’ve tried navigating different forums but since most of the page will not work for me it is hard to do.

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Your site neslerdesigns.site is connected to your WordPress.com account via Jetpack so if you’re not able to open it from here, there are likely issues with your Jetpack connection.

    Try re-connecting it as explained here:

    1. Go to the Jetpack menu in your WP Admin dashboard
    2. Scroll down to find the Connections area.
    3. Click Manage site connection.
    4. Click Disconnect and follow the prompts to complete the disconnection process.
    5. Click Set Up Jetpack button to connect your site to WordPress.com again.

    I’m not able to find the WP Admin dashboard.
    I used to be able to find it, but now I cannot and I don’t remember it’s exact location to know where it’s missing.

    When I open the backend it says powered by jetpack but the stats grid just has dashes.

    Under site it says I have no posts published and asks if I want to publish one.

    I can browse themes.

    Nothing loads in reader.

    If I go through my account/profile (if that is what you consider admin dashboard.. I feel it usually isn’t) then I just get an “error fetching your account recovery settings”. Shows nothing under connected apps besides blank unloaded boxes.

    I’m not able to find what the above linked article is referencing either.

    neslerdesigns.site is a just a domain forwarded to https://neslerdesigns.wordpress.com so you’ll access its Dashboard at https://neslerdesigns.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    Maybe you meant http://neslerdesigns.com/ instead, which used to be a WordPress site, but is now just forwarded to your Etsy store?

    No- neslerdesigns.site was purchased for the use of forwarding to the blog page, and eventually the webpage.

    neslerdesigns.com has been forwarded to many things but is staying at my etsy store.

    I just clicked the link you posted for the neslerdesigns.wordpress —– admin

    That told me I was blocked for security reasons and I just went through the steps to get back in. It never gave me the option to fix it or log in before. (I had to log in before this)

    So thanks, I guess? I guess it’s fixed now. Doesn’t tell me what security reason I was locked out though.
