WP Business Plan refund not fully received

    Hi! I just receive a refund from WP, however only part of it following cancelled WP Business Plan and transfer of our domain on Sunday.
    The refund total should be £268.65 (as automated payment sent 20 sept). The refund received was a little short, as I received today £256.44. Please could you check and amend?

    I’ve taken a look at the account and I can see that a full refund has been processed.

    Also, I noticed this was purchased in Euros, and therefore refunded as so – was that intentional?

    Thanks for your reply. The purchase was made automatically in GBP (£) as that is the balance of our account. Therefore we noticed a discrepancy in the refund amount. No it was not intentional to pay in Euros.

    To confirm, I can see the purchase was made in Euros and also refunded in Euros.

    Is the issue here that the Euro amount and the GBP amount differs?

    Hi there!

    We aren’t able to do anything there as we didn’t charge anything extra. As @aleone89 explained above, the amount that was originally charged is €300 (In Euros). The amount that was refunded is also €300 (In Euros). You can see both receipts at https://wordpress.com/me/billing to confirm this.

    If there was an extra charge due to currency conversion fees (or foreign currency exchange fees), it was charged by your bank and is outside of our control. You can contact your bank/credit card service provider to inquire about this further.

    Hi there aisajib,

    Ok noted – so clearly a portion of the refund was lost in the currency conversion. Will check with bank provider, disappointing but will know for next time.
