WP changed format of my pictures? – Why??

For a while, I thought I had been tripping or something when I made those posts with ridiculously sized images. Good to know it’s only bug and I’m ok. At any rate, a fix would be greatly appreciated if possible. http://chinesecartoons.wordpress.com/

I’m having the same problem too! I started re-adding them by just linking to an outside URL rather than uploading (which doesn’t hold the pixel size)

hello, I have the same problem as most of the people in this thread. my blog is under http://visocki.wordpress.com/ I fixed the front page, but others are not listening to me. thanks for all of your hard work.

I am having the same problem. Many of my photos are showing up 100% even though the code says they are sized smaller. Could you fix my blog too, please.

the blog I am having trouble with is kiehas.wordpress.com (you also get there by clicking my name). The pictures on the front page (included via an excerpt) as well as the pictures in the posts (basically in all the posts) on my page appear in the wrong format.
I hope this can be fixed.

Saw this problem with too large images on our blog long time ago but hoped for a automatic and permanent solution. As that does not seem to happen, please fix

I’m not sure if my problem is the same.
If it is, could someone please fix it.
My WordPress.com blog is http://amusingthezillion.com/I use Misty Look theme for my blog. All of the photos that I use are either medium size hosted at flickr (500 x 365) or resized in that format and uploaded to WordPress. Sometimes (rarely)when I look at my blog, it looks normal. The width of the two columns is 6-1/4″ and thewidth of the column with the photo is approx 4-1/2″. The photos are flickr’s medium size.
Other times it appears too big. The width of the two columns is over 8″ and the width of the photo column is 6″.In other words, the photo is larger than the size I uploaded, so it looks a blurry and stretched. The watermark looks blurry too.
I was wondering if this was my browser or computer, but in fact right now I have two different windows open to the same postand one looks normal and the other doesn’t.

electricia1, that may not be the same issue, but I ran the fixer on your blog just in case. If that didn’t fix it, please start a new thread.
