WP changed format of my pictures? – Why??

Same problem here – today some of my pics got resized badly. For example on this post http://thorfalk.wordpress.com/2011/11/28/wod-mon-28nov-tennis/ the “tennis” icon should have the same height as the WOD icon (and it does, in the editor). However, on the page it is simply in full size.
In fact – all the post with this icon are affected: http://thorfalk.wordpress.com/tag/tennis/ Note that this is new, and looking in the source of the html editor, and the source in what WP is generating it seems that something is mangled there.
General fix would be appreciated – this clearly seems to be a bug, not a feature…

Same happened to me and I went through each image on each page and post that was askew and reduced the size to 90% and everything seems ok now. If WP does a general fix will it affect what I fixed so far and have to go through it all again?

I was wondering the same thing, which is one reason I have not fixed anything on my blog. Of course, the other reason is fixing each one individually would be a real PITA.

Hi, my blog’s got the same oversized photo problem and it looks a mess after the 4th post. It’s easy to see where the problems lie as the my photos extend into the rail on the right instead of being centered about the post copy. Would you please fix this? I have similar problem in my blog, except that my photos are now smaller than they used to be. They should be 500 pixels wide, and now they are only 490 in almost every post. The text area is still 500 wide.
Please help, I have lots of photos and they all look really bad and fuzzy now.

We made some changes to the fixer, and it should work in all cases now.
I have run it on everyone reporting the issue, or reporting as still having the issue, up to this point.
If you’re still having trouble, please let us know.
cbwentworth, cpplan, polleywagz, and cantueso: You mentioned having a problem, but did not list the blog URL that was affected. We can’t fix it without knowing which blog URL to fix.

It is still the same! And has been this way since yesterday: BIG pictures everywhere.
Also starting yesterday, the stats have not loaded properly or not loaded at all. Just now I tried again and let it load while I did other things and when I came back to look, it was still loading. But that is unimportant.The sad thing is to see all those oversized pictures. I usually put in many, but keep them most of them small.
