  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs like the one linked to your username and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  If you are referring to a WordPress.org install then you are posting to the wrong support forum and must post to this one http://wordpress.org/support/ For clarity read WordPress.m vs WordPress.org > http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  How do I get a “paid” FTP access?

  So paying for your Domain name is still counted as “Free”?

  Regarding a domain name purchase did you not read this before making your purchase?
  Domain mapping – Important Notes Before Upgrading

  Your hosting is free and that’s what is the most costly part of blogging. There are no paid upgrades offered by WordPress.com that provided FTP access. If you want FTP access you must hire a web host, set up a WordPress.org install and move your existing Wordpres.com content into the install.

  If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers

  i’m trying to install a wow.slider. The advice gives the impression that you don’t require an FTP in order to create a jqueery word press slider.

  If you would be so kind as to take a look at this site and advise i would be greatly appreciative.

  You cannot install that on a WordPress.com site. It’s for only WordPress.ORG sites.

  Each upgrade at WP.com applies only specifically to what it says. A new domain name is just the name. It doesn’t change the way your blog works or what you can do with it.
