WP Core error includes/class-wp-theme-json.php in version 5.9.2

  With 5.9.2 I’m getting the following error (only at the top of the home page):

  Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [root path…]public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-theme-json.php on line 1091.

  I’ve seen posts about theme.json needed in the theme root. There is no theme.json in my theme or child theme. I checked this line of code against a fresh download of WP and it matches. Not sure what it’s looking for.

  A search online found tons of sites with this same error, same line of code.

  Suggestions?

  What is the URL of the site with the problem?
