WP default mp3 player doesn't work on my WP theme

  Hi there !

  i’m using a WP theme on wich i’m trying to put the default WP mp3 player (http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/).
  Apparently, according to the audio support, there is 4 ways to have this player !
  when i’m doing the first one, using the code with a mp3 file hosted on an other platform, there is no player, just the code…
  Is it about the theme ?

  I am using Firefox 5.0 and I do see an audio player. Which browser and version of it are you using?

  • You could have a browser issue so try changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies – instructions for specific browsers.
  • Note that when you make adjustments to your browser settings — changing privacy settings, deleting cookies or increasing security — you will need to close your window and restart the browser before those new settings become effective.

  Hi timethief !

  thanks for your help !!

  just forgot to notified that, it’s not on my blog but on an other website page, on wich I installed a premium theme… so, yes i see too the audio player on my blog page but when i’m using the same code on my other private site using theme, it doesn’t work…

  Note that if you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog then there is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins or any themes into them The themes found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  Also note we Volunteers have no knowledge of premium themes and how they are intended to work so we provide no support for them at all. We don know that the purchase allows the theme to be used on only one free hosted WordPress.com blog. Your theme is a premium theme and when you purchased it what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer. Go here > Appearance > Themes and click the link you find there to the Premium Themes Forum please.

  If you are referring to a WordPress.ORG for self hosting you are posting to the wrong support forum and ought to post where the support bot is pointing to http://wordpress.ORG/support/
