WP Desktop – Windows 10
-
WP Desktop App always opens at the last post written, even if this post has been published. It would be easier to open with a blank page and use File to open a previous post. It is also awkward to have to open a new page by using the Window tab. I’m sure the standard is File > New.
Also, there does not seem to be a way of opening previous posts from any of the tabs. Again should use File > Open.
Any thoughts? It is still a good app though.

Hello there,
Many thanks for that feedback.
It is also awkward to have to open a new page by using the Window tab. I’m sure the standard is File > New.
The app works slightly differently to the online version of WordPress.
On WordPress.com – there is a relatively new sidebar when editing posts whereby you can toggle between posts.
This has not yet been rolled out to the app.
You may wish to take look a look at the WordPress.com version of editing a post to see the difference.
I hope this helps.
