WP Domain Mapping not mapping properly
-
Please I currently run buildupnigeria.wordpress.com and I just recently paid for the domain mapping feature to map my WP blog to my customized buildupnigeria.com domain name registered with Godaddy and previously hosted with BlueHost. However, the hosting with BlueHost is not suppose to matter as I have changed the name-servers to point to WordPress.
The problem is that, the domain mapping completed successfully and I have also set buildupnigeria.com as my primary domain, however, when I visit buildupnigeria.com, its the old website that was hosted with BlueHost that still shows up. Please why is this so as I have changed the name-servers to point to WP and no more BlueHost.
Please kindly respond. Its Urgent!
Eta Uso.

From my end, everything seems to be working fine. The nameservers are showing up as WordPress.com ones, not BlueHost, and the domain mapping is working.
Sometimes the nameserver changes take a bit of time to fully propagate. Can you clear your browser’s cache and let me know if you are still seeing the wrong site after 48 hours?

Thanks for your kind and quick response Mr. CoffeeManMatt. Please just to confirm; The old and new site both carry the same BuildupNigeria logo but on the new site hosted with wordpress, the BuildupNigeria logo is stretched across the screen while on the old site, the logo is appears in a small square-like shape on the top-left. Please which of the two sites based on the explanation above did you see when you checked?
When I whois the domain name, the name-servers appear totally correct, pointing to WordPress but I still see the old site when I visit the domain name. Please based on the differences explained above, please which of the two sites are you seeing when you visit buildupnigeria.com
I promise to clear my browser cache immediately and revert but I would currently please appreciate your kind response on the above. Thanks.

This is the site I see when I visit buildupnigeria.com, which, according to your description, is the correct one.

Thanks Mr. CoffeeManMatt. God Almighty bless you immensely. I just visited the domain name using my blackberry and the correct one opened. I will surely clear the browser cache on my PC as that’s clearly the issue.
