  Hi! I uploaded & activated wp-ecommerce but am having problems! I wrote up my product descriptions and costs but my product page is still empty? What am I doing wrong? and is there a tutorial for wp-ecommerce?

  I think you have a blog hosted elsewhere as opposed to one hosted by wordpress.com. We do not upload themes here and wordpress.com runs on different software than wordpress.org.
  Also wordpress.com blogs are non-commercial blogs. Business cannot be transacted on them and advertising is restricted to a single discreet link on either the About page or in the sidebar in a text widget. If you are self hosting or if you have a web host and have downloaded a free template from wordpress.com then you are in the wrong place. Go to http://wordpress.org/support

  Actually that plugin has a support site but I can’t open a new window and search for it. I’m sure there’s a link in the zip file for the plugin. You may want to check the docs that came with it for a link.

  I know that you are not allowed to sell items on wordpress but I have seen the WP ecommerce plugin. Where is this to be used?

  I have a charity site that would like to sell some of their items for proceeds to go to the charity. I like our wordpress site but need a solution.
