WP hosted blog still redirecting to tranfered domain

  Hi,

  I have tranfered the domain hashtag3citylink.net to another registrar, changed the name servers, but the WP hosted blog still redirects to the original domain, not hashtag3citylink.wordpress.com. Do I also need to cancel the “domain mapping” service? (This option was not avaible to me in the “Upgrades” section.)

  I can help you with this.

  Just to confirm, what you are hoping for is to have two separate websites with separate content. So when visitors go to hashtag3citylink.wordpress.com they see your existing WordPress.com site, and when they go to hashtag3citylink.net they go to your new website.

  If that’s the goal I can cancel the domain mapping and you’ll be set–just want to make sure I’m clear on the desired outcome.

  I need help!!

  I mapped chilmarkwritingworkshop.com to a new site, but because the primary domain on the old wordpress site is still chilmarkwritingworkshop.com without another domain to switch it to, I have no access to the old website! I need the content.

  I want to have two separate websites with separate content. When visitors go to chilmarkwritingworkshop.wordpress.com, I want them to see my existing WordPress.com site, but when they go to chimarkwritingworkshop.com, I want them to see the new website.

  Yes, I would like hashtag3citylink.wordpress.com to display the WP hosted site, so that hashtag3citylink.net displays an entirely seperate, new site which will be hosted elsewhere.
