WP hosted blogs category, not date, permalinks?

    My blog is hosted on wp.org. I have my own domain name which I’m mapping.

    Right now, my permalinks are the /YY/MM/DY/PostTitle/ format.

    I’d like the permalink format to be: /category/posttitle/ or /category/posttitle.html

    Being that I’m on WP I can’t go to options and change the permalinks settings. I’m wondering if there is a way to change my permalink format some other way.

    You’ll have to check out the wordpress.org forums. Sorry. We only can help you with wordpress.com

    WordPress.com users cannot change the permalink format at all.
