WP Intranet Capabilities – Is there human support from WordPress?

    Hello, my company is looking to replace our (old Joomla CMS run) intranet. We have been looking at WordPress as a suitable CMS replacement but are running into technical issues, mainly with the native search of uploaded content. We need to speak to a wordpress expert, who isn’t trying to sell us custom wordpress site development. How does one contact the ‘Happiness Engineers’ at wordpress? There are many companies selling custom WordPress development, but we dont want a custom designed site, just have basic technical questions we cannot find answers too.

    For most technical questions related to a custom WordPress site, you can post on the forums. There are many volunteers who will be happy to help you and answer your questions.

    Depending on the level of control you desire for your site, you should decide whether you want a WordPress.com site or a (self-hosted) WordPress.org site.
