wp keeps logging me out

wordpress keeps logging me out after a while and takes time to log in again. Its frustrating, i tried clearing all browser cookies and having the same URL both for WordPress Address fields and Site Address in the WordPress settings..nothing

wordpress keeps logging me out after a while and takes time to log in again.
I visited roijanvion87.wordpress.com and stayed for a few minutes without getting logged out.
I would like to understand how this is happening on your PC and Mac.
Does it always log you out after a fixed duration ?
Do you see a message when you get logged out ?..i tried clearing all browser cookies ..
WordPress.com uses cookies to check that you are logged in.
When you clear all browser cookies, you actually log yourself out.
Are you using a browser add-on to automatically clear browser cookies periodically ? -
this problem was happening before clearing any cookies. When I log on I will stay on for at least 30min or less then the WordPress would log me out while I’m still working and I have to wait for a while to try log in again and this takes awhile, like 10-20min. It’s happening on Mac and pc.

During the time that you are logged out, are you able to browse other sites on the internet or do you have difficulty only with connecting to WordPress.com ?

Only with wordpress. I can browse and use the internet but just can’t get back to my wordpress admin panel

Hi @roijanvion87, I can imagine this is frustrating. I have some questions I need to ask in order to get an idea of what is happening.
1. Can you confirm you are talking about http://roijanvion87.wordpress.com/?
2. When you get logged out, what happens exactly when you try and log back in? Are you getting any errors or messages in your browser?
3. When you get logged out, is it while you are working, or after you have taken a break and done some other work, or stepped away from your computer for a while? Also, does this happen after you close the tab WordPress was open in and then reopen a new tab to start working again?
4. You mentioned clearing your browser cookies, did you also at that time clear your browser cache? If not, can you try clearing both and then log in and see if that makes any difference?
5. Can you try disabling all extensions you may have installed in your browser and then clear cookies and cache and restart your browser and see if that cures the issue?
Sorry, I know that is a lot, but I’ve not seen any other reports of this issue, so I’m trying to gather more information.

Hi, I’m talking about https://prophireuk.000webhostapp.com/. The msg I get when I get logged out varies on the page, I get ‘connection lost’ error and most times I get the ‘log in’ link while I’m still working on a page, therefore I lose everything I just worked on if I didn’t save it. The problem isn’t with the browser or my internet because I can browse other sites normal and use Internet as normal while WordPress logs me out and try to get back to it. I have cleared both cookies and cache but nothing changed. Disabling the extensions doesn’t help either because I have tried different browser other than google chrome.

If you are unsure who your hosting company is, you can check your site at https://www.whoishostingthis.com.We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.
To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.
