WP Loading Very Slowly Sometimes

Over the last few days (since roughly last Friday) I’ve noticed that sometimes all the WP.com sites (not just my blogs but also other blogs and these forums) are loading very slowly at times. Sometimes they load properly, other times it takes forever if at all. I’ve noticed it seems to be an issue with the servers (sX.wp.com-replace the X with 0, 1, or 2). Clearing cache & cookies and restarting the browser doesn’t help. Is anyone else noticing this problem and if it’s a server issue, any idea when it might be fixed? It’s not stopping me from updating my blogs but it is admittedly a bit annoying at times.

I’m on the West side of North America and the internet has been dropping out from time to time. I’m wondering if it has something to do with the coordinated attacks by Anonymous; not that they’re trying to take down WordPress.com, but when they go on the rampage the rest of the net gets stressed out. Afraid I don’t have anything more specific than that.

It sounds like there is a problem between your computer and the WordPress.com server. Your connection will go through any number of hubs before it gets here and one problem along that line will cause you problems.
Where are you located?
Have you had a recent operating system or security program update?
Have your firewalls been reset?
Have you reset your router?
Have you checked with your ISP to see if there are known issues?If you cannot find any causes by investigating then you will have to report all your details to Staff using this link. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
