WP Mac App Opening a browser ‘Edit Post’ window

    Issue: Whenever I try to edit a post/page via the WP Mac App, it opens a ‘Edit Post’ window from my browser. It ALSO opens the edit window from the WP Mac App.

    The expected behavior is to ONLY open it via the Mac App. This has been the case for me in the past.

    Relevant details;
    – Using wordpress 5.5.1
    – Using classic editor plugin (not using the block editor)

    From the sound of your issue, it appears you’re in the wrong forum. Although your site is connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack, it is using the open-source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:
