WP Media Gallery Has Blank files

  I recently added SSL to my site, not sure if that is related, but ever since when I upload images they will upload ‘fine’ in that no error appears, but only blank boxes appear. When I go into Chrome console on the media gallery page it shows ‘Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()’. Hosting service won’t help as they say it’s a WordPress issue.

  Your site is not hosted here, on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.

  For general help with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
