WP migration from GoDaddy to other hosting provider
-
Hello,
I’ve got a problem, because for the past year I have been working on a website that runs on GoDaddy’s WordPress hosting. Now the readership increased and 25 000 visitors a month that GoDaddy allows me to have on my current plan is not enough.
Last week I purchased my own server and tried to migrate it there. I downloaded /wp-content directory, imported SQL database and it almost works. Almost.
So, yeah, it should look like this: http://barnsley.co/
But after migration it looks like that: http://serwer1568123.home.pl/autoinstalator/wordpress1/I cannot get into the admin login area and every category, tag and link sends me to the first website instead of linking it to the new one.
Could somebody tell me what can I do to “copy” the website onto new server and make it work properly? Becasuse now I feel like the work is 50% done, but still… I can see some connections with the old website that should not be there.
Thanks for your help!

You’re running a self-hosted WordPress install, while this support forum is for sties hosted at WordPress.com.
You should post your issue in the WordPress.org support forum, which would deal with your migration issue. -
