Wp multisite project

    Hi,

    This is my first post here so I hope I won’t brake any rules.
    I have some questions regarding a wordpress multisites network and I hope I’m writing on the right forum / topic.

    I want to create a multisites network using wp 4.7.4 (latest version) and I want to offer different services by using different themes in the network. I tried to read as many tutorials and docs (including wp codex) as I could but there are some questions that I can’t find the answer for.
    First off, for you to understand better the architecture of my project, I will try to sketch all the components of my network:

    First, I’m just a student so I don’t have a big budget. The investment for this project comes from working as a freelancer, so please don’t recommend expensive resources (plugins or services) because I can’t afford them.

    Hosting: VPS 6GB ram, 4 vCORE CPU, 60GB SSD, 1000 Mbps Uplink, unlimited traffic, 1 IP Address, free SSL = 642 Euro / year (about $660 USD). Administered, free cPanel, 24/24/365 support by phone.
    Do you think it’s a good price for what it offers?

    I will purchase the themes from Envato and you can search for them on themeforest > wordpress. I will list them here:

    1. “Native” theme *domain.com* (Main website. Where people land and see our services and stuff)
    2. “Native” theme *sub2.domain.com* (Want to use the same theme but with a different layout from the demo they offer)
    3. “Native” theme *sub3.domain.com* -//-
    4. “REHub” theme *sub4.domain.com* (Want to create a marketplace with multivendor option where young designers can post products for sale. The theme offers this possibility. Please check REHub theme with “Vendor” demo)
    5. “WPLMS” theme *sub5.domain.com* (Want to create a courses website where teachers can create tutorials from the front-end and post them for student to enroll. Teachers will be earning money from commissions. All these features are included in the theme)
    6. “Meetup” theme *sub6.domain.com* (B2B model where I will promote tech hubs and related events)
    7. “JobCareer” theme *sub7.domain.com* (Want to have a platform for freelancers just like fiverr and freelancer and also, have my own platform to recruit)
    8. “Engine” theme *sub8.domain.com (Website for tutorials)
    9. “Bimber” theme *sub9.domain.com (Website for viral tech news. Comes with a plugin for users to add articles from front-end)

    Some of the themes listed above, offers more then one design (layout/variant) and I want to have the same theme installed more then once to different subdomain but with different style. For this, I read on codex that I must install “WP Add Custom CSS” plugin from wordpress.org in order to avoid any conflicts, if for example, I want to edit a color styling on website#1 and keep the original styling for the website#2, both website#1 and website#2 using the same theme.

    Also, I will buy there plugins and depending if they are compatible with the themes, I’ll install them on every theme that is compatible with:

    WPML
    Ultimate Membership PRO
    Visual Composer
    Slider Revolution
    Essential Grid
    Slick Menu
    Alter
    LayerSlider
    NinjaPopups
    and others…

    Now… here are my questions:

    1. Can I have all these themes with their own respective features and plugins installed in one wordpress multisites network setup?
    1.1. Can these plugins rise any conflicts or each individual website from the network have it’s own sql?
    1.2. Can I buy one plugin and use it over the entire network? (if the plugins is multisites compatible and also, if the themes are compatible with that plugin)

    2. What happens with users? On codex, I read that once a user registers an account on one of the websites from the network, that user will be able to login on any of the websites from the network. My problem is that on some of the websites I will use subscriptions or different user access level and I will try to achieve this by using Ultimate Membership PRO (you can read the description on codecanyon)

    3. What happens when I delete or ban a user from one website? Will that user be deleted on every website from the network? Also, will I be able to see all the users from any of the website’s dashboard in wp-admin using the Super Admin account?

    4. Some of the websites will use woocommerce for different tasks like buying subscriptions or selling digital or physical good. From your experience do you think that this will cause any conflicts or errors?

    5. /! Important: If I start by using subdomains to map the websites within the wp multisites network, will I be able to change this into domains? When I will have more money I would like to buy a domain for each of the websites from the network. Also, as far as I read, it’s better to use subdomains then folders to map the websites considering the address conflicts that might occur. What is your opinion? I know that wordpress will automatically create “/blog/” and “-2” addresses in order to avoid these errors.

    6. If a theme comes with a plugin, for example, Visual composer, will I be able to use that plugin across my multisites network? When installing the plugin that comes with the theme, I won’t install it from that specific website dashboard, but instead, from the network dashboard and select “Network activate”.

    7. Do you think my host is enough for this setup?

    I know there is a lot of information and I hope I was clear enough so you can understand what I plan to build.
    Also, if there is a wordpress multisites expert in this community, I want to know if you are willing to help me build this project. I can’t afford to pay much but I know everything in this world costs so I don’t expect free help.

    PS: It’s a philanthropic project and don’t have any investor right now, only my saving from freelance work. I want to create these services to help people worldwide. Can’t offer many details here about the purpose as many aspects of the project are confidential.

    About paying for helping me to install and setting up everything, I would like to pay someone that’s enthusiast to work with wordpress, not some random guy from freelancer that speaks whatever dialect from India and translates using google translate :D (I bet you know what I mean)
